The Kick-off Discussion 2006
In order to set forth the idea of a World Culture Forum, the Forum Tiberius – International Forum for Culture and Economics hosted a kick-off discussion in October 2006 in Volkswagen's Transparent Factory. The 37 participants consisted of members of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of the Tiberius Forum and external figures from the spheres of culture, politics, business and science.
Separate workshops, led by Prof. Dr. Kurt Biedenkopf, Dr. Bernhard Freiherr von Loeffelholz, and Prof. Dr. Christoph Stölzl, were organized to discuss the content and themes as well as how this content should be presented for a World Culture Forum. In subsequent meetings, these structures were fleshed out and preparations were begun on the content for the World Culture Forum’s kick-off event.
